A SMALL GUIDE

Keep your poems together.

Add a poem. Choose “Add poem”, enter a title and write or paste the text. New poems start as unpublished. Odia, English and Hindi each have their own text field.

Keep its history. Add a publication record whenever a poem appears in a journal, book or website. You can also record submissions and acceptance details. One poem can have several records, so you do not need to duplicate the poem.

Add an image. Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image and describe it. Save the poem to keep the image with it. The starting collection includes AI-generated illustrations inspired by the poems; these are not photographs or artwork by the poet.

Find unfinished work. Use “Unpublished” to see drafts, “Shared online” for online posts and “Published” for publication records. A stage describes your record; changing it does not publish the poem on the public website.

Make a backup. Save any open edits, then choose “Download backup”. The downloaded file contains saved texts, translations, images, publication history and private notes. Keep it privately. Use “Restore backup” to replace a notebook with a saved copy.

Know where work lives. This version keeps edits only in the browser and website address where you made them. Another browser or device has a separate notebook. Clearing site data may erase your saved work. The public site and other visitors do not receive your edits. There is no sign-in, cloud sync or automatic public publishing in this version.

Update the public collection. Keep unpublished drafts in the notebook. When a poem is ready for the public site, supply its approved text and image to the person maintaining the site. The notebook backup may contain private work, so do not share the whole backup as a publication package.

Arrange your poem cards

Open “Create a category & select poems”, enter a category name, tick the poems you want, and save. You can choose an existing category or create a new one. Each poem appears in one thematic section. You can also change its category while editing. Categories are included in downloaded backups. These changes organise your private notebook; they do not update the public website.
